วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง การศึกษาวิเคราะห์อานิสงส์การคบกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท มีวัตถุประสงค์ ๑) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดเรื่องกัลยาณมิตรตามพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท ๒) เพื่อศึกษาการคบกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท และ ๓) เพื่อวิเคราะห์อานิสงส์การคบกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท หมายถึง การปฏิบัติต่อมิตรหรือเพื่อนด้วยความใจกว้าง และมองมิตรในแง่ที่ดี ทำให้ผู้คบหาสมาคมมีแต่ความสุขความเจริญ การที่เราต้องการจะให้บุคคลอื่นเป็นมิตรที่ดีต่อเรา เราเองก็ต้องเป็นมิตรที่ดีต่อบุคคลอื่นด้วย ประพฤติปฏิบัติแต่สิ่งที่ดีมีประโยชน์ต่อคนอื่น กัลยาณมิตรที่ดีต้องเป็นผู้อุดมด้วยปัญญาทั้งทางโลก และทางธรรมอย่างพร้อมมูล ประกอบด้วยคุณสมบัติที่จะสั่งสอน แนะนำ ชี้แจง ชักจูง ช่วยบอกช่องทาง เป็นที่เคารพ เป็นผู้น่ารักเช่น พระพุทธเจ้า พระอรหันตสาวก บิดามารดา ครูอาจารย์ และท่านผู้ทรงปัญญาพหูสูตสามารถแนะนำพร่ำสอนเป็นที่ปรึกษาได้ การคบกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาทนั้น มีแต่ความเจริญในการดำเนินชีวิต ก็ได้ประโยชน์ด้วยกันทั้งนั้น การฝึกตนให้เป็นกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักสัมมาทิฏฐิ ในอริยมรรค มีองค์ ๘ ประการ เป็นกระบวนการดำเนินชีวิตที่ประเสริฐ เป็นปัจจัยนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จอันสูงสุดในชีวิต ทั้งทางโลก และทางธรรม คือทางโลกก็ประสบความสำเร็จ ในการครองเรือน ทางธรรมก็จะนำไปสู่การได้บรรลุมรรคผลนิพพาน เพราะการคบมิตรมีอิทธิพลต่อการบรรลุธรรมโดยตรง บทบาทของผู้เป็นกัลยาณมิตร มี ๒ ประการ คือ ๑) บทบาทหน้าที่เป็นกัลยาณมิตรต่อตนเอง ๒) บทบาทหน้าที่เป็นกัลยาณมิตรต่อผู้อื่นและสังคม อานิสงส์การคบกัลยาณมิตรตามหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาท ทำให้เกิดคุณค่าและความสำคัญต่อผลสำเร็จ ทั้งในระดับเบื้องต้น ท่ามกลาง และในที่สุด อานิสงส์การคบกัลยาณมิตรมี ๓ ระดับ คือ๑) ระดับบุคคล ๒) ในระดับสังคม ๓) ในระดับประโยชน์ มี ๓ อย่าง คือ ทิฏฐธัมมิกัตถะ หมายถึง ประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับในปัจจุบัน สัมปรายิกัตถะ คือ ประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับในภายหน้า ปรมัตถะ หมายถึง ประโยชน์สูงสุดในชีวิต คือ นิพพาน
The purposes of this research were: 1) To study the concept of good friends in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy 2) To study in associating with good friends and 3) To analyze the advantages of associating with good friends in Theravada Buddhist philosophy. This thesis was the qualitative methodology, based on the documentary research. Data collection was carried out from many sources as Tipitaka, academicians’ researches, along with work of intellectuals concerned that were specialists in Buddhism. Once completed, data were analyze, and presented through the analytical description. The results of the research were as follows: Good friends in Theravada Buddhist philosophy are persons who have the right understanding to distinguish What is good, what is bad, what is right, what is wrong, what is merit, what is sin, maintaining life with mindfulness and wisdom and guide other people to the right way for valuable benefits. Associating with good friends in the views of Theravada Buddhist philosophy is found that: associating with good friends are conditions to support life get prosperity and good action because good friends are beside you to give useful advices. Therefore human beings should associate with good friends and train oneself to be good friends. The valuable results of associating with good friends in the Theravada Buddhist philosophy’s viewpoints are found that: associating with good friends make valuable result to personal and social level and to obtain important objectives in Theravada Buddhist philosophy.
